The Beer Festival went well and a great time was had by all who attended.
The coffee morning in the Community Garden was as popular as ever. As usual there was a warm welcome in the poly tunnel with hot drinks and cakes.
The volunteers are working hard preparing for the growing season and as usual produce will be on sale. One of the features of the garden is the willow structures. Willow is now in sale for anyone who wants to use it to make screens arches etc in their own garden. One local school collected some this week. 9 teams took part in “The World’s Biggest Quiz” at The March Hare to raise money for two charities. Each received £80.
The Village Hall AGM was held and reports were given after another successful year. The hall is looking good and progress is being made with projects. There is still more to be done though. An enthusiastic committee are making plans for major projects such as a new roof and better heating. The building is well used and is available for private hire. See www.duntonvillage.org.uk/hall

Jan 26 18: DUNTON COMMUNITY GARDEN: Last Saturday visitors enjoyed the first 2018 coffee morning in the garden from 10.30 – 12 noon. As usual there was a selection of delicious cakes. It was a wet day but the poly tunnel provided welcome shelter. Visitors included the BBC Three Counties Radio Treasure Hunt team who followed clues to find us.
